Impact Of English Language In Schools (Especially For Child)

This era ,if it just can use one language is so difficult  for can come in  competition global . evenless our Country position as Country of amends that stills to require help and contribution of other Country in particular developed Nations.  And How that contribution can accepted??? Yes, it use  LANGUAGE.

Each individual at least can use international language. We know that English Language is international language. To can get interaction and gets communication with person of other Country, person must use english language especially Indonesian people. English language is foreign language at Indonesia, with existence of English language( foreign language) as international language, beginning indonesian education of garden plays until by university have curriculum and study about english language. And it make impact towards students in schools.
            So, there is two foreign language influences toward  Indonesian, they are positive influence and negative influence. Negative influence looked on child developing who not care Indonesian authenticity.

Negative's impact from Existance of foreign language:

1. Children begin underestimate to study indonesian.
2. Indonesian people will begin to forget that Indonesian language is unitary language.
3. Indonesia people will be hard to say good and right indonesian.
4. It able discolourises nationalism spirit and pride attitude on lingual and cultural Indonesia.

Positive’s impact from existance of foreign language:

1. It can increase result child’s language.
2. More person can get communication in english language, and it will get information transfer process
3. It is advantage in various activity (international intercourse, business, school).
4. Child can get two or more languages with every consideration if available consistent social pattern deep communication.
5. It is very good for physical condition and job ability racks brains.

No matter what impact for us, it depond on us. The point how to balance between indonesian language and foreign language.
