MY LESSON PLAN : MY FUTURE

School                          : SMA/MA
Class                           : XII
Theme/material          : Simple Future Tense
Time                            : 2 X 35 minutes
Students                      : 40 persons

1.      Goal
In the end of the lesson, students should be able to tell or say their future profession well and without any mistake by using simple future tense.
2.      Terminal Objective
Students will learn simple future tense.
Students will learn the kinds of future professions.
Students will learn the kinds of future sentences (verbal and non verbal, positive, negative and interrogative).
3.      Indicator
a.       Students can write and say the sample of simple future tense.
b.      Students can name the kinds of future profession.
d.      Students can name the kinds of simple future sentences (verbal and non-vorbal/nominal, possitive, negative and interrogative).
4.      Material
A.     Grammar Practice
a.      Pattern:
·         Verbal
(POSSITIVE)                          :S + will/shall + V1                            
                                                She will go to Semarang.
(NEGATIVE)                                     :S + will/shall+ not + V1
                                                She will not go to Semarang.
(INTERROGATIVE)             :Will/Shall + S + V1?
                                                Will she go to Semarang?
·         Nominal (Non Verbal)
(POSSITIVE)                          :S + will/shall + be
You will be there for me.
(NEGATIVE)                         :S + will/shall + not + be
You will not be there for me.
(INTERROGATIVE)             :Will/shall + S + be
Will you be there for me?
b.      Usage:
Prediction/willingness              :It used to talk about prediction or willingness that will happen in the future.
c.       Time signals                             :Tommorrow, next week, next moon, next year, two years later, etc…

The teacher asks students to make a group, each group consists of 4-5 persons. So there are 10 groups.
Students make their group.

The teacher applies game in the class. He has 10 cards that consists 10 future profession (Reporter, teacher, photographer,  etc). Then he gives the one card (that fill a picture of future profession) to each group. Then he explains the rule of game. (The rule is all member in group must do. Before the group showing off the picture, all students must ask to the group “What will you be? then one of members will say “ I will be (N)….”. While he shows off the picture, then other members will give some clues that relates it by saying “I will (V1)...”. And other group may guess the picture after all members of the group finish saying clues. The other groups that know the answer must say/ask “Will you be (N)…?”. If the answer is wrong, the members group must say  “No, I will not be (N)…” together, but if the answer is true, the members of group must say together “Yes, I will be (N)…. and so on until the last group’s turn. Example: the picture is farmer. All students say “What will you be?”. The one of members answers “I will be…” and then he shows off the picture. After that the other members say (one by one) “I will  go the the field”, “I will dig up the field”, “I will plant rice”, and “I will pour on the rice”. Then other group that know the answer ask/say “Will you be a teacher?”. Then the members of group will say together “No, I will not be teacher”. But if there is a group ask “Will you be a farmer?”, so the members of group will say together “Yes, I will be a farmer”. Then the group that answer truly, the teacher will give them point.
Each group listens carefully.  And they try to make strategies and sentences that relate their picture.

The teacher calls each group to come front of class and present their performance one by one.
The students do based on what teacher’s order.

The teacher praises their working and gives aplouse for their ortef.
Students give applouse too.

The teacher reveals the best group and gives a small present for one group that work correctly.
The best group moves forward and receive the small gifts and others give them applouse.
